Infinox Review

Infinite Promise... But Does It Deliver

Overall Score:
7.4
/
10

Infinox is one of those brokers that looks solid on paper, and to be fair, in many areas, it is. Founded in 2009 and historically linked to London, it presents itself as a global broker offering access to over 900 instruments, including forex, indices, commodities, cryptocurrencies, and more.

After testing the platform, I can see why it attracts attention. The infrastructure is there, MT4 and MT5 are supported, and execution feels stable. There’s also a decent ecosystem around it, including social trading via IX Social and various educational tools.

But like many brokers with a long history, the reality is a bit more nuanced.

The experience was a mix of positives and frustrations. Verification was incredibly fast, almost suspiciously fast, but at the same time, regulatory restrictions weren’t clearly communicated, and support responses felt generic rather than helpful. Add to that the fact that most retail traders are onboarded under offshore entities, and you start to see where the trade-offs lie.

In short, Infinox is functional and feature-rich, but not without inconsistencies that traders should be aware of.

Safety & Regulation

Score:
7.3
/
10

Infinox operates under multiple regulatory entities, but the level of protection depends heavily on which one you’re registered under.

Infinox is regulated by:

United Kingdom: FCA
Bahamas: SCB
South Africa: FSCA
Mauritius: FSC

At first glance, the presence of an FCA licence is reassuring. However, in practice:

  • Most retail clients are onboarded under offshore entities (SCB, FSC, FSCA)
  • The FCA entity is not typically used for everyday trading accounts

This means:

  • No FSCS protection for most users
  • Reduced investor safeguards
  • Lighter regulatory oversight compared to Tier-1 jurisdictions

So while the brand itself is regulated, the actual level of protection for most traders is mid-tier.

It’s not unsafe, but it’s not top-tier protection either.

Account Opening Process

Score:
6.2
/
10

This was one of the more interesting parts of the experience.

The initial setup is fast:

  • Register account
  • Access dashboard immediately
  • Minimal friction upfront

However, the process is not intuitive:

  • No clear prompt to upload documents
  • Verification section has to be found manually

Once I uploaded documents, verification was instant, faster than any broker I’ve tested.

But then things got confusing.

When I contacted support to confirm everything was valid, I received a generic compliance response stating that my proof of address might not be accepted due to regional restrictions (UAE). This wasn’t communicated during onboarding at all.

So the experience felt like:

  • Extremely fast verification
  • But unclear regulatory rules and restrictions

That lack of upfront transparency is something traders should be aware of.

Ease of Deposit & Withdrawal

Score:
7.7
/
10

When it comes to funding your account, Infinox doesn’t make you jump through flaming hoops.

Available methods include:

  • Bank Transfer
  • Credit/Debit Card
  • Skrill
  • Neteller
  • (Crypto in some regions)

Minimum deposit:

  • From $50

Deposits:

  • Instant via cards and e-wallets
  • 1–3 days via bank transfer

Withdrawals:

  • Typically processed within 24 hours
  • Returned via original funding method

From my experience, the process itself works.

However, it’s worth noting:

  • Some public reports mention withdrawal delays
  • Additional KYC checks may be triggered

So while funding is straightforward, withdrawal experience may vary depending on compliance checks.

Trading Conditions

Score:
8
/
10

Infinox offers competitive conditions with multiple account types.

Spreads: From 0.2 pips (ECN-style accounts)
Commission: Applied on ECN accounts, $0 on standard accounts
Execution: STP / ECN execution
Leverage: Up to 1:1000 (entity dependent)
Assets: Forex, indices, commodities, crypto CFDs, stocks, futures
Trading Style: Fully supports scalping, hedging, and EAs

Account types include:

  • Standard (spread-based)
  • ECN (raw spreads + commission)

Execution during testing was stable:

  • No major slippage
  • Fast order fills
  • Reliable performance under normal conditions

Pricing is competitive, particularly for forex traders.

The main variable is leverage and protection, both depend heavily on which entity you’re trading under.

Platforms & Trading Tools

Score:
8.6
/
10

MetaTrader 4: Stable, widely used, ideal for forex and automated strategies.

MetaTrader 5: More advanced charting, broader asset access, improved performance.

IX Social: Social trading platform allowing you to copy other traders.

Assets Covered:

  • Forex
  • Commodities
  • Indices
  • Crypto
  • Shares

Additional tools include:

  • Economic calendar
  • Educational content (videos, eBooks)
  • Market analysis and news
  • Loyalty program rewards

The ecosystem is solid, not cutting-edge, but definitely functional.

Customer Service

Score:
6.5
/
10

Customer support is a mixed experience.

Support channels include:

  • Live Chat
  • Email

During testing:

  • Live chat interface was glitchy
  • Initially couldn’t type or respond properly
  • Eventually connected and received answers

Responses were:

  • Polite
  • Informative
  • But somewhat generic

There’s a noticeable gap between response availability and quality of assistance.

It works, but it’s not as smooth as top-tier brokers.

Infinox

Pros & Cons

Score:
7.5
/
10

PROS

  • Multi-jurisdiction regulation
  • Fast account verification
  • Competitive spreads and execution
  • MT4 and MT5 support
  • Social trading via IX Social
  • Low minimum deposit

CONS

  • Most retail clients under offshore regulation
  • Lack of clarity during onboarding
  • Mixed withdrawal feedback from users
  • Glitchy customer support interface
  • Regulatory protections vary by entity

Overview

Final Score:
7.4
/
10

Infinox is a broker that sits somewhere in the middle, not elite, not poor, but slightly inconsistent.

It gets a lot right:

  • Good trading conditions
  • Strong platform support
  • Fast onboarding (on the surface)
  • Wide range of instruments

But the details matter:

  • Offshore regulation for most users
  • Confusing onboarding flow
  • Inconsistent support experience

My honest take:
Infinox is a solid option for traders who are comfortable with mid-tier regulation and want access to MT4/MT5 with competitive pricing.

If you prioritise Tier-1 protection, seamless onboarding, and polished UX, there are better alternatives.

If you prioritise functionality, low entry cost, and platform flexibility, Infinox works.
