Australia: ASIC
South Africa: FSCA
Dubai: DFSA
Mauritius: FSC

Account Opening Process

Opening an account with VT Markets was surprisingly smooth and straightforward. The online application is clear, and I was able to complete the initial registration in just a few minutes. They ask for the usual proof of identity document through a third-party verification company – SumSub. I didn’t encounter any unnecessary delays. Let’s go through the full account setup process – you’ll see how super simple it really is:

Confirmation of which jurisdiction you are opening the account under prior to filling in any application. I like this – keeps everything transparent for the trader. You will be fast tracked to the portal to continue the application. Following some simple form filling, you will be tasked to create your live trading account. Again, I like this feature. It’s super streamlined. Once you have created your live trading account a simple ID verification check will take place.

This is a requirement prior to depositing funds and trading. VT Markets use SumSub to conduct the verification. The process is really simple and genuinely takes a matter of minutes.

As we are now in the portal, lets check out some of the features VT Markets has to offer before we move onto the deposit and withdrawal process.

The homepage is clean and intuitive. Clear accounts section and a very exciting TradingView feature – more on this in the platforms section. We love Acuity Trading here at FX Axe, and VT Markets doesn’t disappoint with full Acuity integration.

VT Markets have their own copytrading facility, ‘VTrade’. This is accessible directly through the portal:

As we always do with copy trading facilities – please do your own research and do not risk more money than you can afford to lose. Market conditions can change quickly and accounts that are supposedly profitable over a certain period can take a turn for the worst. In conjunction with other features mentioned, VT Markets offer a built-in economic calendar and additional trade ideas. Some features are blocked until you deposit $50 in your trading account.

VT Markets doesn’t charge fees for deposits or withdrawals, though third-party providers may apply charges, particularly for international transfers. Overall, the process felt secure, efficient, and hassle-free.
