XS.com Brings Back Hanna Le to Lead Its Vietnam Business

Posted: 4th Nov 2026

XS.com has rehired Hanna Le, its former country manager in Vietnam, as regional business development director for the country, the broker said today (Wednesday). She will lead its business development and partner relationships there.

The job includes work with the regional and marketing teams on offers for local clients and partners, according to the release.

Le held the country manager job at XS.com for nine months until July 2024. She returns after a year as business development director at rival broker GTCFX, where she managed the sales team.

Vietnam does not regulate retail online margin trading. Only institutions licensed by the State Bank of Vietnam may deal in foreign exchange and derivatives.

Offshore brokers serving Vietnamese traders still hire country managers and open local representative offices, a grey area FinanceMagnates.com examined after a $200 million scam case last year.

The wider region carries weight for retail brokers. Asia-Pacific drew 30.5% of organic traffic to the 98 broker websites tracked by FM Intelligence's heat map in the third quarter of 2026, second only to Europe at 42%.

London's trading industry is coming home!

Second Stint After GTCFX

Le moved to GTCFX in July 2024 and left in June 2025, according to her LinkedIn profile. Two months after she joined, GTCFX opened an office in Thailand under a new country manager.

Wael Hammad, group chief commercial officer at XS.com, said her market knowledge and "familiarity with our organization position her well for this role."

Before her first spell at XS.com, Le was country manager at Radex Markets from December 2022 to November 2023. Earlier she managed sales at InfoFX, an agency in Vietnam that helped brokers enter the country with branding and introducing-broker contacts.

Her first banking job was as a senior sales officer at Shinhan Bank in Ho Chi Minh City, where she spent a year and a half.

A Year of Regional Hires

The Vietnam appointment continues a run of regional hiring at XS.com this year. Simon-Peter Massabni became head of retail sales in March, and Omar Alaa joined in June as marketing director for the Middle East and North Africa.

July brought Emily Aghajanyan for emerging-markets growth and Maria Pesca Santos as Latin America regional director. In October the broker hired Mariana Higa from Vantage to run marketing in that region.

That makes Le the sixth senior hire XS.com has announced since March, by FinanceMagnates.com's count.
